Yeah, it's one thing to have the space for the kid, but I don't understand why you have to make the place look like a classroom when the kid DGAF.

Yeah, I mean congrats on having a room in your house that has a "look," which is really cool, and I'm not saying you did anything wrong. I just made the calculation that in my home it isn't worth the extra effort.

We had one for a year before I realized how ridiculous it was. The kids were pulling things out of the play room and playing with them in the living room.

And I was having to pick up both their rooms and the playroom. It was unnecessary.

I'd have something soft on the floor for a playroom though

Just from experience. Kids get rowdy, heads hit floor.

I see you have infant stuff in there. Did you make a playroom for your infant?

yup kid will be here in less than a month.

wife claims she will do most of the day to day in that room to help alleviate shite being all over the house and living room.

we kept the large second bedroom for guests so her nursery is kind of small.

yup.

yea the room has a weird shape because it was a converted carport.

this was it when we first moved in. it was basically a wasted room and id occasionally go in there to get away from whatever crappy tv the wife was watching

I went through all that, but i decided that kids don't need their own play rooms. My kids have their own rooms, and they can keep all their shite in them and play in there. Rest of the house is always all fuxked up anyway. It's the principle.

All of this.

Why does everyone need a mancave? You fricks can't sit on the rear patio or front porch or outdoor kitchen or by the pool? frick smoking a cigar inside the house.
