Humor is very subjective. Enough people enjoyed this type of humor to garner this much money. It will probably drop substantially in week two, but saying someone is dumb as a result of their sense of humor is incredibly elitist and just wrong.

Most movies are crap. It's always been that way. Lowbrow, unsophisticated humor is what audiences like. 50 years from now, they'll be showing NCFOM and comparing it to the crap that gets made in their current era. They won't remember shitty movies like Paul Blart.

No ones panties are in a bunch of my end. I get that it's a "family" movie. With that said, it's not the type of movie that would have interested me, even as a kid.
