Did we use too much energy in the comeback?

That worries me for game 2. Grant it we have a day's rest but I am a little worry they blew their emotional and physical loads in the 4th quarter. Anyone else have that concern?

No, if we can't bring it like that in every quarter of every game, we have no shot.

if anything... we gained more than we lost... we gained momentum

big MO is much more needed... now if only the team & coaches take the lessons learned from game 1 and put it to use in game 2

Hopefully that momentum will be enough at game 2 in their home. I told my son that if the next 2 games were in New Orleans after that comeback, I'd almost guarantee 2 wins here.

Lol no. If anything, I think it'll give them confidence. They held their own at GS in their first playoff game.

but think about it... we're a young team w/ our top young star making his playoff debut... as well as the current incarnation of this team (meaning 1st post-CP3 era playoff appearance)

against the NBA's best team in a hostile environment... some early jitters were expected... and that's what we got... that's why I believe we shot so poorly in the 1st qtr... but look at the score by quarter... we more than held our own

1st: -15
2nd: -3
3rd: even
4th: +11

if you think about it... quarters 2-4 we won... the early jitters are what killed us

If we didn't completely and utterly shite the bed in the 1st Q, we'd have won the whole damn game.

Can't wait for game two and hope everyone is right. If we can steal one out there we can make this a series for sure!

Yeah, it's pissing me off that all the GS fans are saying they were never in trouble. I'm listening to the NBA channel on my drive in from Atlanta, and their fans are delirious. You could see the look on the faces of the Warriors' players in those last couple timeouts. When we cut it to 4 they were crapping themselves.
