Was Brad Wing's success in 2011 due to Claiborne and Brooks?

These two were so fast, it seemed they were down near the end zone catching punts...

yes and no

yes in that they clearly don't hurt

but it isn't like he sucks. he is an NFL punter which isn't east to be.

no...but they certainly didn't hurt. His bomb vs. Bama after Reid's pick was probably one of the top 3-5 plays of the year.

claiborne and brooks could get downfield fast for sure, but wing could flat boom some shite man....I sit in the upper deck and he would boom them above eye level for me...

because they were getting down field and downing the punts, smothering the return man, or smacking the ball out of his hands.

of course wing's kicks allowed them the time to get down there and in position
