Edit: Hit enter by mistake.

I'm looking for a laser printer for a small office of 5 or so people. I had a black and white Brother printer during college that I was happy with.

Needs:
Laser
Color
Copy/Scan (not much more than 10 pages at a time)
Wireless connectivity
Relatively inexpensive

I know in the past that the all-in-one's were "a jack of all trades and a master of none." Am I better off purchasing a printer and scanner separately?

Haven't used it a ton yet but I'm impressed with the print quality and features.

I bought an HP from Costco last year that has been the absolute t!ts for me. I think it was like $65. Scanner, WiFi, color, etc.

Oh, PRO TIP: Don't go buy more toner when you're out. Just have it refilled.

I have an HP CP3525n color laser printer that I've used for over 3 years...hasn't missed a beat. I've purchased toner through Amazon that has worked really well at a fraction of the OEM HP toner. I never had any luck with refills. It's not wireless...here is one that's similar with wireless: LINK. Not quite as fast, but should work well for an under $500 office printer.

Our office pushed an HP scanner, however I opted for a Fujitsi ScanSnap ix500 LINK. This little scanner is only the size of a lunchbox, but is an incredible little machine. I went completely paperless a few years ago and have scanned thousands of documents without a single jam that I can remember. There isn't any document, receipt, biz card, etc. that it can't handle.

I had an all-in-one when I first started my business. It was inexpensive, but I constantly had issues with it. The combo I have now works like a dream compared to my old setup. Take my advice and go ahead and spend some money on quality equipment.
