Sheriff’s Capt. Stewart Harp, who oversees the jail and courthouse security, said Irons has been a difficult inmate, so moving him requires two or more officers and the use of restraints. “How he was able to do that with restraints was pretty creative,” Harp said.

Then, multiple sources confirmed, Irons insulted the judge with a lewd comment. Trial court administrator Roy Blaine said Irons seemed to express displeasure with the court process.
