Found one for sale near my house for $3k and thinking of helping my son buy it as his beater car for work. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I got really into the cucv stuff for awhile. Cheap cheap at auctions but it's a crap shoot if the one you get is going to be s money pit.

Still they look so badass and they can jump start a tank.
