What is going on with all the gas stations on Veterans Highway in NOLA area

Um....I can think of 3 within a couple of miles of me that have bathrooms, and I live off of Bonnabel/Vets
Lemme think. Coming from West end:
Circle K by Wendy's - no
Shell - yes
One by autozone with cheap cigs - no
Exxon on East side of causeway - yes
Shell on other side - yes
That's as far as I want to think right now

thanks, it's just a pain in the rear end if you come in from out of town and stop for gas....this seems to be the tendancy with stations owned by people from the Indian subcontinent...
