(like for example Steve Rogers being sort of racist)

I object! The racist Cap was Jack Monroe, not Steve Rogers. It was Rogers who found and befriended the first black Marvel superhero, the Falcon. Rogers has always been about inclusiveness and helping out the little guy.

I will not have any besmirching of the good name of Steve Rogers, a thoroughly decent (fictional) man, who represents the best of the American dream.

The Ultimate version of Captain America is not only a racist, but a womanizer as well.

To top that off, it was his fault that Peter Parker died.

Well, that explains why they are cancelling the Ultimates universe. I never read it, but that sounds awful. What a total misreading of Captain America.

They did a lot of screwed up things with that universe.

Hulk is a mass murderer.

Betty Ross is She-Hulk (not the red version - Jen Walters is just a normal lawyer)

Peter Parker, Kitty Pryde, Bobby Drake, and Johnny Storm lived together at Aunt May's for a while

Xavier and Raven Darkholme are ex-lovers

Lots more

quote:

One issue of Avengers features a series of panels in which a voice yells, “Hank, please! No . . . More.” We eventually see that it is the Avenger superhero the Wasp. Not visible, however, is her lover Ant-Man, who possesses the ability to shrink to any size. He then emerges, in shrunken form, from the under the sheets and between her breasts, telling her, “All right, Jan—your turn.”

quote:

Instead of the Rhett Butler–esque backhanded slap that Ant-Man gives Wasp in the main comics universe, the Ultimates universe features a full-on physical brawl between the characters, weapons and all. Eventually, Wasp shrinks down to escape her husband, but he finds where she is hiding and hits her with some Raid insect spray. He laughs that it must feel like napalm on her skin. When she refuses to come out of hiding, he puts on his ant-controlling helmet and sends a legion of ants to kill her.

I guess Rudd will do a decent job with this. I was never really a fan of Ant Man or his associated characters such as the Wasp. If they want a more interesting and powerful female character in the Avengers than Scar Jo I still vote Captain Marvel, Nebula, and Ms Marvel (in that order). Mockingbird could emerge as a featured character if they ever do a Hawkeye movie... but I'm not super attached to that character either.

I was pumped about this movie until Edgar Wright quit. This trailer got me somewhat interested again.

Lmao, yeah I like him. I'd just found out this is where the Josh Trank trashing studio sets rumors came from and was looking around.
