Who gets in if the Pelicans and Thunder finish with the same record? Who would own the tie-breaker?

a win tonight would have put us in the drivers seat big time.
it will be big if Russell loses his appeal and cant play one of the next two games.

Thanks for the clarification! Hopefully the Spurs will be resting their key players in the last game, so that should be a win for the Pels. Now, looking at their record, you would think the Pelicans would roll over the T-Wolves, but I know the Pels seem to have trouble with the bad teams for some reason. Well, we'll have to see what happens!

they won't be... SAS/MEM/HOU will all be within 1 game of the division title (and West's 2 seed) come Wednesday night... the Spurs will be out to win it

all 3 could finish the regular season 56-26

Hypothetically, if the Pels and Thunder split 2-2 and still had the same record, what would be the next tie breaker?

If you have to ask this question with 3 games to play you truly live under a rock or checked the standings for the first time of the season a few hours ago.

Just to play devil's advocate- Would it surprise anyone if Pops gave no fricks about seeding or the division title, and would rather fresh legs going into the playoffs? I would sure hope our playoff chances don't come down to the Spurs resting their guys or not, but it would be a nice break.

Pelicans would be playing the Warriors in round 1 of the playoffs.
