Only one game tonight. Not too concerned. I have a feeling we bounce back like we have previously. LSU bats are going to heat up tomorrow.

Their pitcher was a stud. I figured Auburn would take one from us, but we may not get a change to win the series with the weather.

Just seems like every time we get shut down they come out firing the next day.

If we get the game in, we get 10+ hits. If that tunrs into 10+ runs, I'm not sure. Seems likely that we get the win.

You've got 3 things working for you... Sunday, Keegan is done, and after a loss.

Yep... I've seen it happen quite a few times. Their pitcher tonight was really good, so I'm not too worked up about the loss, or our hitting. Just take the series tomorrow.

Also.. We've scored 10+ before and lost. If we keep pitching to Grier, it will happen again.

What would you suggest we do? Walk him so he can steal second anyway? Dude is good.

A ball to his ribs may prevent him from stealing immediately after.
It would also help if we get a couple outs before he comes to the plate, when possible.

You got that right. That guy better not see any strikes tomorrow.

I'm calling 10+ runs can't guarantee the win though

Not give him middle-in fastballs with runners on?

The 9 hole was killing us ( some self inflicted like the walk). He kept getting on before

I don't think that was the plan. Pitchers don't always hit their spots. This is the hardest type of hitter to pitch around. You can walk a home run hitter, but you don't want to walk a speedy hitter.

I agree, that typically is the thought. But would you not agree that him getting on base by a walk is "better" than him hitting doubles and getting RBIs?

Yes.

But it's not like he is a 1.000 hitter. Walking him does.

If The barn wins tomorrow we will not win the sec regular season championship. Tomorrow has to be a win for us. Whoever disagrees with me in this thought don't know shite.

How so? If we sweep aTm, which we will of course , we are sitting pretty.
