After last night's game I wanted to see who LSU had to go against in recruiting Bregman. I couldn't find anything. Anyone know?

LSU doesn't recruit against schools. We recruit against MLB.

After strongly considering Texas, North Carolina and New Mexico, Bregman signed a letter of intent to play at Louisiana State University, where he's projected to play shortstop.

Many schools expressed interest in the Albuquerque teenager, a member of the 2010 USA Baseball 16U team. Oklahoma, UCLA, Texas, Stanford and Arizona State were among those vying for his commitment.
Bregman ultimately narrowed his list to UNM and 19th-ranked LSU but said he “fell in love” with the LSU campus and the Tiger program during a recent unofficial visit.
“A lot of my friends go (to UNM), and I would’ve loved being able to play in front of my family,” said Bregman, who plays for Albuquerque Baseball Academy in the summer. “But I just thought that LSU was the best decision for me.”

Imagine his BA in the mountain west conf. It's possible he would have been a career .400 hitter.

The only reason he didn't sign and go higher was he hurt his thumb his senior year

Wasn't there an LSU connection on his high school team? Former pitcher I believe

Former LSU 1b/dh, and juco masher, Jason Columbus was his high school coach.
