I'm guessing it's because Hamm had a write up on Greedy and cb'd him to aTm.

I think last month Shea or Sonny said that Lawerence was gonna do the Bama spring game because he hadn't been able to make a trip there this spring

Possibly Eric Monroe. Its between LSU and Texas' spring game and he hasn't decided.

Looks like he decided on LSU.

Update from 247

quote:

East Coast linebacker Keion Joyner is now a no-go on the visitor list for this weekend.

Florida cornerback Trayvon Mullen is staying home to take the ACT on Saturday, and Texas defensive tackle target Kendell Jones has decided to visit Austin for the Longhorns’ spring game.

Louisiana’s Devin White, Rashard Lawrence, Mykel Jones and Shyheim Carter will all be in Tuscaloosa for Alabama’s Spring Game, and Tide commitment Raekwon Davis, who briefly mentioned the possibility of visiting Baton Rouge this weekend, is also expected in Tuscaloosa.

This a bit bizarre with so many TS prospects coming to LSU's SG and so many LA prospects going to Bama's.

I am very sad to hear that Joyner will not be making the trip. I really hope we can get him in for a summer camp and OV.

And everyone said Joyner was a guarantee just last year.

How can so many louisiana guys be going to bama's spring practice. Especially guys at positions we need. That's 2 DT. Coach O better step his game up

Getting a commitment from Ed Alexander this week would make me feel a lot better. Perception isn't reality, but it just feels like Bama is gaining some momentum now.

Bottom line is as long as Saban is there they will always be a threat to pull LA kids, especially NLA.

all of those Louisiana guys going to bama spring game have been to LSU's campus so many times.

it makes sense to me that they would go see Alabama instead plus the weather is going to be shite in BR

i would imagine the threat of weather is keeping the kids that have to travel a long way (joyner, mullen, etc.) from making the trip. for all we know, the coaches could have told them to wait and come on a better weekend.

The hope is for O to establish stronger LSU ties in NLA,Obviously it's going to take more than 4 months to do so.

i don't think devin white is coming here anyway so we might as well not worry about him

lsu leads for Lawrence and it isn't close right now

Good points. As I said, perception isn't reality. It's just me being a bit paranoid and worrisome.

However, Shea did say that Rashard Lawrence is truly interested in Bama. That's the one I am most concerned about. I also hate the thought of another bigtime OL (Allen) leaving the state, to go to Bama nonetheless.

Some kids are taking the ACT on Saturday too even though I believe a few of them plan on still attending after taking the tests.
