stopped because the CHTMSL light was out??
That light isn't even required..
Man listening to Everlast, and instead of being chilled he goes all Sidney Mack.

The irony of being pulled over in an Advanced Auto Parts store

Do the cops think they can really gather police support for this? Smh. Typical behavior. Guess we shouldn't expect less.
It gives a context to the situation but only a sick, deranged ISIS supporter would use this as grounds to justify the cop murdering Scott.

How could he be so pissed about not being able to catch a 50 year old man that he had to kill him.
That old man was quick though.

do you know the south carolina law or are you just looking for yet another argument.
That car is a 1980's car, the CHTSML light was NOT required for US automakers until 1993. If the car is pre 1993 then it is not required, so sit down and shut up .

When will the police force take personal responsibility for their heinous act?

Not excusing the cop, but RUNNING FROM A COP RARELY TURNS OUT WELL.

The victim was dumb to run but people act irrational sometimes see the idiot cop who gunned the dude down.

It sure doesn't, but executing a fleeing unarmed man on camera shouldn't turn out well either

The actual brake lights have to work in a vehicle, you can pass inspection without the third one working. The third light being out shouldn't cause a pull over. That being said, this guy had no insurance and no proof he owned the car. Fleeing would of added more jail time and the cop had his ID.
He made a stupid move that cost him his life. He shouldn't have died, but he shouldn't have tried to flee either.

Didn't say it would.
Said running from the cops is a dumb idea in the first place.

Any word on why he took off running?

There was a passenger in the car so we may find out exactly why Scott ran or what was on his mind.

I think he had a warrant out because he owed child support again
