Saw some BWT while scouting this past weekend, presumably on their way back north. Teal season will be here before you know it.

I don't really get the itch for duck season until about late August. I like to fish more anyway.

ETA: and I saw a shitload of ducks in Dulac last 2 weekends.

Working on my personally owned private hole for the first time has really helped carry me through this off season.

No more, I wish the farmer would do this, plant that, drain then BS. It's a whole other project to occupy me.

They are thick at Toledo right now.

Teal, woodies and greenheads are what I have seen the most of out there.

Saw some big wads of grays and redheads in mobile bay a few days ago. Didn't think they had birds in there

Saw a big flow of BWT this weekend at Lake Fausse Point. I was surprised they were still here.
