Is there still a reel repair shop in BR? I vaguely recall one in north B.R. years ago.

I take all of mine to superior on siegen. Prices are reasonable and always get the real back fairly quick.

What kind of reel, and what's the problem?

Favaro's is still open last time I checked. They have been in business for a long arse time. It's a very cool little shop that's worth visiting. Superior Bait and Tackle also repairs reels but that would mean you would have to go do business with superior bait and tackle.

Superior screwed me one time so I started cleaning them myself. My dad takes his to Favaro's.

Sorry for the hijack, but what's wrong with Superior? I realize that their prices on tackle are pretty expensive, but they are literally the only game in town for offshore gear. I try to order most of my stuff, but don't mind giving a locally owned business my business when in a crunch.

I think some people have had some bad experiences with the guy that runs the place.

I haven't had any particulary bad experiences but the guy certainly wasn't the friendliest on a few occasions that I have been in there.

If you are of a higher social status, it seems the service is better at some BR locations, IMO.

Same here. Mark is a little scattered at times but he is good people. Sometimes he will call me when certain baits I like come in. Other times he will neglect to call me when my reels have been ready for weeks. Anyway, I fell like I get pretty good service. I must be
