Interstellar "What if" Storyline Potential

Imagine for moment that Event Horizon wasn't made 18 years ago and hadn't already pioneered on film the "pen thru paper" explanation of a gravity jump (wormhole) from point A to point B in space.
Now imagine Christopher Nolan combining his Interstellar script with Event Horizon's premise that a wormhole jump may not lead to the most desirable or expected location (ie. Hell).
Now all of the sudden you have absolutely incredible movie potential with Nolan directing not only his first space drama, but also his first legitimate horror film.
Imagine a psychological horror film about space physics and Hell being directed by Nolan.
:boner:

Dialogue, 30 minute shot of running water with a voice over spouting off philosophical bullshite, rinse and repeat.

...getting back on track.
I can't wait for a Nolan directed horror film.

Not to get off topic, but was this movie good? May rent it if so.

It's hard to explain to someone who hasn't seen it.
If I told you it involved 5th dimensional beings and 5th dimensional physics...would you know what I was talking about?

I hate horror, so that would absolutely suck. I have come to the conclusion that anyone who enjoys horror is a sadistic sociopath that could kill others if given the opportunity. Why anyone would want to see innocent people slaughtered by some psychopath or group of psychopaths makes no sense to me at all. Would you watch a live feed of Columbine when it occurred if given the choice? I certainly would not.

I enjoyed it a lot, despite figuring it out 1/2 way through. knowing the twist that soon in no way killed the movies enjoyment for me

Possibly. I do occasionally think about grabbing some random bystanders by the hair and slitting their throats while drinking the blood gushing out of their throat then drilling a hole in their temple and having sex with it. But, I doubt it is because I watch horror movies.

Because it's only a movie, brah. It's fake. Not all movies can be gay little musicals.

How is this the same as watching, say, a cheap exploitation movie with bad special effects? It's not even in the same universe. Like at all.

It happens to be my second favorite genre. I haven't smoked anyone yet though.

I have to admit that the anti-horror dude laid one magnificent troll.
He should start that as a thread. Would probably hit 500 posts.
