I remember jumping on a boat going to an island and fish for lobster and tuna. Trading lobster and tuna = $$

I like to claim that I got the word jizz banned from Runescape. I never got high level, I just spent a few days in the bank/trading area dropping flour on the ground yelling at people to avoid the jizz I sprayed all over the floor. After a few days of this, I got banned and had to create a new account. Jizz was added to the censored words, never played again.

Just looked at screenshots, can't believe how much it changed since then, I haven't played 3 at all. I don't think I played 2 either, I don't remember anything about there being a pay option.

There was a pay option early on. There was just always a free to play area.

I started in 2004 with my membership.

I think the main reason I joined up was Agility. I hated walking slow.

Back then it was $5.00 and there really is an insane amount of content.

Heck, for someone picking it up today, it is probably overwhelming.

I'll admit to it. I wasted so much time on it around 04-05. I get a really bad urge to play about once a year and go to check it out and quit after about 3 minutes because it's so different.

I love the monotony of mining. I was a super high level mining on one of my lower level accounts so I wowould beat out high level people for the ore every time. You could make a ton of money mining and smithing.
I had a guy in my class who was an idiot, like a real life hodor. But somehow for a long while was one of the top ten richest people that played. It shocked me when I found out. He would give out a couple mil every once in a while
