Louisiana marsh trout have arrived

Left the rigolets yesterday and hit Lawson Bay with artificial and the trout were stacked up on the points. 5 guys with 125 trout (14-15 inches) in the boat by 10:00 AM. Hit some shell islands and caught 5 flounder and a few redfish. Mirror lure silver/yellow top sinking jerk airs for the trout small size to match the hatch.

I fished Lafitte on Friday and was skunked. Three of us on a charter and ended up with three reds only. We almost went to the lake but opted for a different venue.
