Looking for a regular place for good-quality steaks, mainly ribeyes/filets. What grocer has the best?

Sam's carries choice, Costco carries choice and prime. Both carry quality meat for the price. I stopped by Calandro's on Valentine's day and they wanted $23.99 lb for choice filets. Left there and went to Sam's, frick that...

Fresh Market is my #1. They have a very large selection. I get massive bone-in pork chops, bone-in ribeyes, NY strips, different types of fish, short ribs, etc. there.

Alexander's market has been my go to lately for beef and seafood

I used to go to SAMs but unless you are buying the whole rack, I have found their meat cutters to be horrible, especially with filets

The new Maxwell's in Lafayette has great meat, I would assume the same for br location.

Go down to the farmers market on Saturday morning and go to Cutrers. Some of the best filets I've ever had. Excellent prices as well. I buy almost all of my red meat from Cutrers.

Calandro's. You can find great deals on the steaks they hide behind the canned goods.

We go almost exclusively to Costco for filets and ribeyes. It's the only place where I buy brisket as well. We have had a great experiences with their prime brisket there. The meat guys at Albertsons in Denham do a good job on T bones.

Fresh Market on Perkins (near Bluebonnet) or Whole Foods on Corporate have the best selection of dry aged beef.
Chris' Specialty Meats also has a nice selection, but it's not dry-aged.

Maxwell's has a good selection. The new leblanc's on airline has a good selection too, even aged beef too.

I buy at Fresh Market all the time and it is iffy. For $30 for 2 ribeyes, the last ones I got 2 weeks ago were horrible and we didn't eat them.
