This gets discussed once every few weeks. Some say flour, some say don't. Some say dry some say bake some grill some smoke.

I just keep it simple and grill indirect until cooked and then over direct heat to crisp the skin. Then toss in whatever sauce you think she might like. Works for me.

If you want it like most restaurants, heat oil to 375.. leave the skin on.. fry 7 minutes per batch.. toss in melted butter and hot sauce with a dash of garlic powder.

The way I do them is bake them in the oven and use Frank's Red Hot wing sauce.

Big wings like they sell at Food Town, I bake 23 minutes at 425. Flip and do another 23 minutes. Flip, sauce and put back in for three minutes. Then flip sauce for three more minutes. Take them out and sauce again as they are eaten.

The little wings that Walmart sells frozen I would cut the initial intervals to 18 minutes.

Cooking on grill has always turned out best for me. Direct heat to crisp skin and indirect to finish cooking. Just remember, slow and low makes a tasty wing. Then of course toss in any wing sauce desired

I do them on the green egg.

Deboning Chicken

Watch the first 60 seconds to see how to make a wing lollipop. I saw this a few years ago when I wanted a better way to debone a chicken and got the lollipop bonus. Watch the whole thing and learn, by far, the best way to debone a chicken.

I'm with LL on this one. Fry them suckers. Don't flour, leave the skin on, and enjoy.

You can do A LOT with sauces. The only limit is your imagination.

It is ten minutes worth watching if you like to debone chickens, which I do. I de bone stuff, tie and put in oven or egg and once I learned his technique I can do it in just a few minutes.

Try a whole de boned chicken rubbed on the inside with your buffalo wing sauce and some bleu cheese, tied up and grilled. Last few minutes mop the wing sauce on the outside and let it just set about 15 minutes. Your guests will love it.

Plus the wing lollipops are easy and a great way to make them cook better and look better with little effort.
