I like dis suggestion. I can't believe I'm going to ask this because I'm probably borderline alcoholic, but would a normal liquor store have these?

Yes, specs does

Just check the tsa site if you don't already know the amount of each bottle allowed. Then put then in a ziploc like the rest of your liquid carry ons

I bought a box of little titos for my last flight

Also, it's completely legal to bring them on the plane but don't drink them obviously. The flight attendants don't like it

I just asked for sprites and poured it in them when they walked off

You are going to love that hotel. You also won't want to use a US toilet again, ever.

Yes but in DC you cannot buy just one. It's against the law. I think the minimum purchase is 3.

The law is intended to stop the homeless from begging for change then going to the liquor store to by a mini bottle.

There isn't a written reason for it. But that is predominately the theory as to why, some wards even have the mini bottles completely banned. They are also easier to sneak into places.

Saying it is because of homelessness, is admitting to a homeless problem. This is something DC people don't want/like to do.

Beer and wine are usually free on international flights... If you have to get smashed on hard liquor, I guess you would do better buying it in advance, but there goes your entire load of carry on liquids because you are an alcoholic. Buy the shite on the plane or just drink free beer/wine. OP is obviously OT baller enough to fly with his gf to Japan, I bet he can afford a few drinks on a plane.
