Feels like the media trying to drum up some excitement for the Masters. Not that the Masters needs it necessarily, but everyone knows viewership goes way up when Tiger is playing and even more so if he's playing well.

I'd love to see him play well but how many times have we heard this type of story over the past several years.

I agree somewhat

Every year it's something to get your hopes up and then come tournament time, it's the same ol crap we've seen

I'd rather a Tiger and goofy Bubba duel on Sunday. Would love to be able to hear a conversation between them two.

I hope he wins every single tournament he's in until he retires.

Golf was better when Tiger Woods was dominant.

How would that be entertaining? Golf is good when great golf is being played, but when there are a number of people in the mix with a shot at winning, it's much better. Tiger or Rory or Kaymer or anyone else blowing away the field is a snoozefest from a viewership perspective. the most exciting Masters in recent memory was the one with like 6 guys in the hunt on the back nine on Sunday...I think Schwartzel ended up winning it with 4 or 5 birdies on the back nine. Give me that kind of tournament anyday over the blowout wins.

Were there witnesses he doesn't pay? At the rate he's going this story has the credibility of the golfing exploits of kim jong il

Eta: well I'll die happier if the Dawgs win a natty and I get married, but I can't get too greedy

This is great, but i'd rather know what he shot today or yesterday at Augusta. The course has to be set up for the Tournament already. It's about as true now as it will be Monday of next week.

This is according to Rosaforte,

I'm surprised Rosaforte let Tiger's D out of his mouth long enough for Tiger to get a round in. This story is BS

The craziest part is he had to make each putt twice.

Worst ball 66 is amazing wherever you play.

Just a thought: Tiger regains old form as Amanda Dufner is free woman. Any coincidence???

I'm more interested in what he did yesterday at AN. I wonder if the fact that he hasn't commented means anything. Get on it Rosaforte.

All I want is for Tiger to make the cut and finish the tournament.

watching such a talented golfer and legend of the sport with the yips is really hard to watch.

Would this make it easier for you to watch:
a split screen simultaneously showing a cartoon replay of Erin going after him with an iron, as he tried to back down the driveway.
