Based on your apparent temper/rage issues, I think I know how you put on the 30lbs of muscle.
Oh do you know?
Hard work, lots of eating, and discipline. I didn't gain 30 pounds overnight. I have been working out since I was 16 and I just broke through the 185-lb barrier last year.

Thats what steroids do to you. Make you gain a ton of muscle and as soon as you stop lifting it all goes away.

I've noticed this over my four decades on this planet- guys that lift weights all the time are extremely insecure about their self-image. Like a 14 year old girl, you can destroy their self-esteem with a simple offhand comment like, "Hmmm, you look like you're putting on some fat" or "Your biceps seem to be losing some definition."
I will confess that I have had self-image issues over the course of my life, but so do many people.
It has more to do with the unintended insult directed at something you have dedicated yourself to for quite some time. Working out instilled self-confidence in me, helped release endorphins, and kept me disciplined.
Not every guy who goes to the gym regularly is a douchebag.

In all seriousness...why not just talk to her about it? This thread is not going to do you any good.

Your posts just reek of insecurity. Man up and stop defining yourself by how you assume others perceive you.

Then I would suggest being comfortable in your own skin regardless of your exercise habits.

I'm not saying that you didn't lose 30 lbs, I'm saying it wasn't majority muscle.
Based on strength losses and how my body has changed during that span of time, I think I can determine how much muscle I did or did not lose.
Even if only 25-30% of that weight consisted of muscle, that's still a pretty significant amount to lose in such a short amount of time.

I did. She didn't think it was such a big deal.

Maybe this isn't the right place for you. Don't take shite so serious.

So you being fat doesn't bother her. Sounds like a non-situation.

You should have PIIHB dry to get back at her

You'd be surprised how quickly that strength will come back

Sounds like you got fat and she likes it.
What's the problem?....you don't have to work out anymore!

Being a fatty worked for Jason Dufner. I'd recommend that you stay fat, don't worry about it so much, and PIIHB.

The soft comment may have been about your ego, not your muscles..
Sounds like a non issue though.
