I know iPad is very popular, but there are other nice options out there. Just wanted to see what people use and how they like their devices.

Just commented on a computer thread.
Get a Surface Pro 3. Has all the capabilities of a computer and once you install Bluestacks you can run Android apps and the Google Play store.

Nexus or Surface Pro
Next would be a Kindle Fire, but only if you're deeply invested in the Amazon ecosystem (and even then, Nexus or Surface Pro might be better options)

Very happy with my iPad Air 2. What phone do you have? That was the deciding factor for me.

What do you need it for? If just for email, general browsing then you can't beat an iPad. If you are looking to do word processing and other tasks you usually do with a computer then go with a surface.

Can anyone tell me which Bluestacks app to download. The app store has a bunch and they all appear to be installation instructions.

going from my SP3 to my ipad is very annoying because of all the functions that are missing on the ipad that are on the SP3.

A SP3 is probably overkill if you just want something to use for email and basic stuff, but even after a year on the market it is still the best tablet out there, especially if you are a "road warrior" and need something really lightweight to get work done.
I'm running the enterprise edition Oracle database on my SP3, for example. Try doing that on an iPad, or any other tablet for that matter.
