In hotels this week so wanted to grab a 6 pack for the next few days. Went with DFH 60 Minute. Been a few years since I've drank any. Not a GOAT by any means but it's nice and balanced and actually has a little depth to it. Easy drinker.

FBD after a couple glasses of malbec is lagunitas cappuccino stout. One of my favorite stouts / coffee stouts. Way better than the abita IMO.

I love Lagunitas but you can't be serious. Cappuccino stout isn't in the same league as Macchiato imo. That's by far Abita's best beer and I can name 8 Lagunitas beers better than that stout.

My foot?

I tripped on a brick sidewalk that wasn't level :( I was in sandals and the brick I tripped over pulled off the tip of my toe. Bleeding everywhere.

When I got into the store, I knew I needed a sink and bandaids.. but I also needed beer. So I decided to ask for the beer first. The courtesy cop on duty in the beer section was impressed that I chose beer before bandaids. So he collected my beer for me while I went to the bandaid aisle and doctored myself up.

He even suggested I walk out and the come back in and buy more from a different cashier, but I told him I am a rule follower. Which is true. I've been to a few places today where the cashiers have no idea about the per person limit, but I don't have the heart for that.

Haters gon hate. Solid ipa imo. It does fall off fast but fresh I'll take it over most all local ipas in the market.

Problem with abita is who the hell knows when it's a shelf turd or fresh. You almost have to go somewhere like avenue pub to enjoy it

FBD - Diamond Head IPA from McMenamins. Solid, if not spectacular. McMenamins is very good. If any of you are ever in Portland, you should go to at least one of their brewpubs.
