Check In if you understand how to yield to an interstate off ramp

Everyday when I get off the N. Dallas Tollway, Im in fear for my life. People driving on the pkwy alongside the toll never fricking yield to the off ramp merging into the access road. For anyone who doesnt know, the off ramp has the right of way. Hence the fricking yield signs.
How is it that two posted yield signs and two yield pavement marks go unnoticed by everyone? Not to mention this is a standard situation discussed in driving school to get your drivers license! You always give way to the interstate/tollway/highway off ramp. This helps reduce traffic.
The same shite happens when Im in Baton Rouge driving I-10 West getting off the interstate at the Mall of LA/ Bluebonnet exit. There are 4 huge yield signs on the interstate 10 W access road, but everyone chooses to ignore them.

Bc people are stupid and the majority live in a bubble while driving....only concerned about themselves, not other drivers.

You should be going faster than the established traffic if you are joining them. Most mergers are going slower and it fricks it all up. But yea, scoot over if at all possible. And if you're black, cruise control is not a whites only device. Try it. Driving a constant 75 will get you there in the same amount of time as going 100 with intermittent periods of 50.

Your title, "yield to an interstate off ramp" implies that somehow the off ramp has the right of way and you should let it pass or go first. How fast was it moving and could it stop in time if you didn't yield to it?

I don't understand your problem.
To me it sounds like you are trying to exit and people aren't letting you off, or passing you on the right?

The inability some people have to properly use the cruise control truly baffles me at times.
Seriously ......if you were one of these people help me understand why you cannot use or will not use a fricking cruise control on the interstate.
