Is there context into why you kept saying that?

its hilarious to watch. posters throw up a baseball pic as their avi or sig and pretend to know what they're talking about...then proceed to freak the frick out after a couple of losses

Any player who can't bunt a certain percentage at practice should continue to practice bunting and then when he masters bunting then he qualifies to be put into the lineup

Couple of losses? So you honestly think this weekend was "just baseball"? Burning Stallings in a tie game, pitching Bugg for 1 batter, and not bunting Deichmann (Friday) and KRob (Sunday) with runners on 1st and 2nd and 0 outs, is what you consider "just baseball"? C'mon man...

ETA: I don't normally flip out about CPM, but he made some serious frick ups this weekend.

I honestly think both sides are right because they're really not arguing the same things.

I've been hard on Mainieri because it was so damn frustrating that the correct calls were right there in front of his face. I made the thread listing them out. 2 or 3 were tough calls. He missed on those. But another 2 or 3 were just real head scratchers. Gambles he had no business taking. I was pissed. I wanted to be mad and talk about it and let it out.

But everyone else is right, too. I knew it Friday, but that wasn't the point. This is just 1 weekend. We are such a talented team in every aspect of the game. I think we sweep Bama in Hoover where we always play so well. I think PM can be a good coach at times but I think he got in his own way this weekend. We were one bregman half-step away from winning Friday and one Foster dive away from winning Sunday.

Both those two thoughts aren't related. People have been going back and forth using each against the other when really they're both true. They're both relevant. And no one is "wrong".

I'm so ready for tonight. I want a good feeling again. I want to kick ULL's arse because frick 'em. We all (fans, team, coaches) feel the same way.

So which do you think he goes with tonight? Foster-2B, Sciambra-LF or Foster-LF, Robertson-2B.

None of the above. PM wants Foster at 2b - he needs the practice. Sciambra DH. Jordan in LF. Krob? You'll probably find him next to Zardon back in Siberia. Hopefully this doesn't turn in to Southern 2.0. This fanbase couldn't handle another midweek debacle.

The more important question is what does he do Thursday in Hoover when Fraley is still unavailable?

I expected Pap to catch tonight. Wouldn't have an issue with him catching midweek games.

You know what though, he's made a hell of a lot more good coaching moves than bad ones throughout his LSU career. Everyone was complaining all weekend that they deserved an explanation from him for this past weekend. The thing is, none of of us were "owed" anything from him,

bunch of fail here. I'm a posi-tiger. Fact is though, he HASN'T made a ton of great coaching decisions outside of 2009. In fact, he has underachieved greatly over the last several years since then. Also, we aren't OWED anything? See how long he lasts with no support. I personally think if he doesn't do anything this year, he is squarely on the hot seat. LSU baseball has been an elite program and hopefully we can get back there.
