The International Association of Francophone Mayors (A.I.M.F.) will be holding its annual conference in Lafayette (March 30) and New Orleans (from Tuesday, March 31 to Wednesday, April 1). The Mayor of Paris and current President of the A.I.M.F., Anne Hidalgo, will be presiding.

French-speaking mayors from the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Africa will unite in Louisiana to discuss major initiatives of the A.I.M.F, including the development of tourism in Francophone cities and the contribution of French language in political, economic and artistic development.
