Catching Fri/Sat dodgers games, best places to stay?

I searched and didn't see anything based on just doing dodgers games, the threads seem to be on visiting Los Angeles in general.
Looking to be relatively close to the stadium if at all possible. Also, would like to stay or be walking distance to bars and restaurants as well.
I don't see us having a ton of time to run the roads, although the game saturday is at night. So, i guess we could cab somewhere if its a must do bar/restaurant.
Suggestions?
