He's been traveling the world according to his facebook.
Eta: Hell, he lives in Tasmania these days.

Please step up and offer Kermit Davis.
They'd compliment each other so well, know/respect each other.
The man can flat out coach - his teams have been respectable even with subpar talent.

I'd be all for it, but you really think he'd resign from a head coaching gig to be an assistant again? I don't see that happening even if they offer to pay him more than he makes now.
Not sure what the issue with Livingston is but he's made clear he'd like to be here for years and both Trent and CJJ have politely declined I'm told.
I think whoever it is needs to be a ball buster. This administration has had trouble motivating and getting kids to do what they want them to do.
I think Johnny's gonna be hands on and do it his way, that's my perception. I don't think he's a delegator as Dale was. So I think a tactician is a bit of a waste.

I would be good for that position as I could help Johnny with the X's and O's but I am living the dream abroad running my own company in Oil & Gas and bringing Cajun Products to the Middle East and Southeast Asia and looking to open Cajun Restaurants in different countries.
Johnny if you are here lurking, I am the guy who me and a friend was supposed to play you and Dalton Hilliard in 2 on 2. We talked about this bet every time we would see you at the bars in BR before you moved to the Mean Green in North TX.

it depends on what Davis really wants. Would LSU pay?
Continue as HC @ MTSU and rarely go to the Dance, or come to LSU and seriously build a monster program. Davis and CJJ could do it.
I don't believe a HC position at a larger school is feasible again at this point in his career.

Seriously???
You think a guy would resign as a successful head coach at a D-I school (and in a decent conference) to be an assistant at LSU???
The delusion of the homers on this board is astounding.

Isn't Ole Piss considering hiring Malik Newman's father? How about we hire him instead.
