I think part of the reason I despised Duke for a long time was their Adidas. Nobody was wearing Adidas, it was either Cons or Nike. I loved that Carolina wore Converse though. I also liked the UNC shooting shirts, hated the Duke ones.

this is a classic case of young guys going with what they know. Anyone that doesn't have Laettner #1 is either just biased or too young to remember. Besides Laettner, the guy Duke people mention most is Johnny Dawkins, he was the man on K's first Final four team in 86. Also where is Grant Hill?

I can't fathom not having Laettner #1. I'd ranking him 4th all time in CBB history. Hill and Dawkins way over Maggette.

Langdon - over privileged kid from Alaska, just looked douche, wanted to be the man just didn't have it to be.
Ferry - decent player, but dad being a former NBA player pushed him to the all hype team.
Wojo - I actually sort of liked his moxy, but yes the scrappy, slap the floor, jumping into stands after balls seemed contrived and over noted.
Sort of actually liked Duke until post '91 now they just seem to be lacking soul.

Ok some of yall have to be confused here. This is about most hated Duke players not best Duke players. I really doubt that many of yall hated Grant hill.
