Going down either Thursday or Friday but we are bringing the dogs (small both under 20lbs)
We plan on hitting up Courtyard Brewery and Nola which are both pet friendly but besides the Bulldog what else is pet friendly?

Watch Rexs YouTube videos. He has custom wagons for his dogs and cruises around the quarter with them all dressed up. You could do something like that...

here's a nice list

I would probably call ahead to a few of those and ask.

If you had a pit bull you could enter him into a fight in the lower 9th ward and possibly win some money.

It's been almost three years since we lived in the Warehouse District, so I don't know if it's still allowed, but the Plaza d'Italia fountain (behind the Loews Hotel) is dog friendly. Take off your shoes and walk the little darlings up through the waterfalls... throw them in the ponds for a swim. They just might love it as much as you do.

Yes, we also put them in shirts and rolled them around the Quarter in a wagon. You will have a blast interacting with tourists. Did I care about my image? frick no... it's NEW ORLEANS, for chrissake... the more unordinary the better.

This. Buy your own liquor and crawfish or whatever other food, head uptown, and enjoy the sunset on the Missippi at the Fly. That's a beautiful thing.

The Bulldog is the most common choice, I also really like bringing them to Freret Street cafe. There they get a doggie menu with high quality baked treats.
(like $2 each bag)

The dogs get a bowl and the patio is covered and the food is pretty good.

The city itself is getting really dog friendly and most of the places uptown with outside seating are dog friendly.

I like going to the Fly or City Park. The empty areas sorta near where the tree people keep going are just awesome to let your dogs run.
(they have a really nice dog park too, but it's members only)

The quarter also has some dog friendly places, but when I bring my dog out (85# catahoula mix) I prefer parks and open spaces to the Quarter or Magazine. Though both are very friendly for smaller dogs.

Do they still have Three Dog Bakery in the Quarter?

Dogs also love Audubon Park.
