I have this, converted to SBR.

I want to shoot 300 blackout. Would adding this upper cause any problems?
I'm going to change the flash hider to a 51tbreakout compensator to take care of the ding sounds when shooting.
Any other advice would be great.

Additional info -- I'm trying to avoid any issues with the gas system, problems cycling, wishing i had bought another brand or length down the road, etc....

I just don't want to make a costly mistake.

Both the AAC and DD uppers are excellent. Personally, I would go with the 10" barrel though or even an 8".

both are locally in stock. 10" dd and the 12" AAC
anything negative about the AAC in 12?

Nothing wrong with going with the 12" AAC, it's just that with the way .300 blk performs you aren't losing much velocity (when shooting supersonic) by going with 10" barrel vs a 12" so might as well get the shortness and weight savings of the 10".
