I marked out multiple times during the show.

Apparently Sting requested Lil Naitch be the ref for the match.

Still some serious butthurt for me today regarding that Sting loss. Why would he agree to come back just to lose? And the very last people that should ever be helping Sting are the NWO. Terrible booking.

frick that. After the first 10 minutes of that match, they should have a hospital room mocked up at the WWE studios where Reigns is wearing a fricking helmet licking the windows.

I laughed out loud.

Why would the WWE, particularly HHH as part of Vince's family, have a moment where the WCW got the best of them at Wrestlemania?

You know WWE won the war when they've had the nWo (twice), Goldberg, and now Sting compete at Wrestlemania.

I was expecting Flair to come out and help Sting after HBK hit the sweet chin music

They never should have played that angle in the first place. Sting's opening promo on Raw last week made me think they had him sign on with the idea that it would be him taking out the authority in the same manner he took down the NWO in the 90's. then they bait and switched him into a WWE v WCW angle that makes no sense since that story played out 14 years ago. Vince's ego buried Sting, and it's a damn shame.

Whoever came up with the money in the bank idea should've deffinitly got a raise when they started it a while back

Basically gave them the same storyline they can rebrand every year for Summer Slam/Mania

I honestly don't think Sting cared to win. This was a simple "Let's wrestle in front of the largest crowd possible one last time" to ride off into the sunset. That being said, he looked awesome in the ring. I figured triple H would win because no way would they let triple H lose two manias in a row.

especially with the NWO and DX playing the role they did, then with the handshaking at the end. It just felt like a "Let's just take one last ride together" kind of thing.

I'm sure he's well compensated, but it's all these years of not coming to WWE because he is afraid that the exact thing that happened last night would happen.

Win lose or draw I thought it was great. I really dont care who wins or loses in wrestling, I just enjoy the show for what it is, pre determined theatre. Everyone should do the same, its much more enjoyable. Sure I have my favorites, but I like the Faces and Heels and I even like the tweeners who everyone seem to hate like Cena and Reigns And Rollins.

After the match when they shook hands, you can clearly see Sting say, "That was awesome". In the match it showed Sting having the advantage only to be stopped by a shot with a sledgehammer. I don't see this as a burying at all.

Let him wrestle Undertaker then that be the end of it. I don't watch wrestling anymore and haven't for a while because its nowhere near as good as it once was. The characters aren't as interesting and it gets way too PG. But, I'll watch Sting, Stone Cold, The Rock, HHH, etc.

Figures

More ideas like that and WWE might get halfway back to the old days or atleast further away from the part timer show they run now
