Looks like we are going on a trip this week. Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, and Legoland Germany for the kids. I'll be travelling with a 4.5 and 6 year old.

Any "Must-see" things in those places for us? We will be driving, so no worries about limitations to near public transport.

Otherwise, we'll just roam around looking at buildings, parks, and eating from random shops... That's fine by me, but the lil lady wants more of a "plan".

Thanks!

My kids are pretty good about travel. They've been to Spain, France, Belgium, and all over Germany with us. It just means no late nights or getting crazy drunk. I've left those days way behind me anyway.

I think we'll do a Vatican easter next year.

I'm surprised you, of all people, started this thread.

I've never been to those places. I've met some well travelled posters on this board, particularly to the less traveled areas. I thought I might get some good tips.

I didn't mean it as an insult. I just know you live in Germany and travel a good bit on your days off. I was just a little surprised, is all. Sounds like a blast.
