The rookie cops didn't know there isn't an actual charge for being black. Dixon said "You can't arrest me for that" and it became resisting arrest.

Dixon is in custody at Turner Duilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami. He was booked at 5:50 a.m.

If a cop just wants to talk to you and you run that can be resisting arrest. They don't need to try to arrest you.

Resisting arrest without violence? I'm no cop or lawyer, but it sounds pretty shady. Without knowing too much more, I doubt Dixon is cut becuase of this.

No details to the story and a charge without violence. I hope if you get arressted for missing a court date or something you lose your job too. How about that?

I dont get it either. If you're arrested for resisting arrest, should there be another charge for the initial reason that you were to be arrested?

Dixon was arrested for driving a moped when he was pulled over and questioned the officer. Dixon tweeted this out saying he did nothing wrong:
