We just seem to be missing the little nuances tonight. Things like on a run down the other runners advancing as far as possible and last night having a guy overrun another guy.

How can you run thru 1st base when the fielder is throwing home right before your very eyes????? It's ridiculous.

Fosters turns have been suspect from the beginning

Nothing new. Marina's teams have sucked at it for years.

We can blame Paul all we want, but Sciambra running past the baserunner is not coaching. Fraley running thru 1st base when the ball is headed to home plate is not coaching. It's low baseball IQ.

Not this one. Sciambra wasn't even aware that Foster was going back to tag. He was watching the ball/outfielders like Foster should have been doing closer to 2nd base. It was Foster's mistake to assume the catch and try to tag. It was almost unlucky because he was trying to make a "high IQ play" by tagging in the first place. Most players wouldn't have thought to do that.

I'm more upset about Fraley not taking second during the rundown than I am Sciambra passing up Foster.

Does Ibarra do anything over there?
