Looking for new lab puppy

Had put a deposit down on a puppy from Gator Point Kennel's Ace and one of the Bayou Labrador females. Found out this morning the whole litter passed away. Does anyone have any other breeder recommendations for me to check out?

Mandy at Gator Point has 2-3 more litters coming including an ACE litter.
Let me know if you need gator points number
Also know of an awesome breeding in Alabama that had 1 male puppy left, ready to go this week

What type of dog are you looking for? Something with a lot of drive? Or just a pet that will occasionally go hunting?

Would like a dog with a high drive that can also be a good family dog at the same time

If you like chocolates that link you posted would be some good dogs. Gump is a very good dog. Probably one of the all time greats(probably the greatest chocolate dog) as far as hunt test dogs go and a monster in the field. My avi pic is my pup out of Gump. He is a year old and the smartest dog I've ever owned. You can look up Champion Retrievers and give them a call.

My pup weighs about 65lbs. Gump is kind of short for a lab. I'd say Gump probably weighs around 55-60lbs. My pup looks like he's going to be a little taller than his dad.

Sad to hear Mandy lost a whole litter!! I just bred my dog with gump. Waiting for confirmation. She's black and an hrch UH. I am very familiar with gump too. Joe Perron trained my dog. If you are interested in a litter due in May keep in touch. If you were to contact Tina at champion retrievers she'd probably send you my way as ours is I think the only upcoming gump litter. It was Bayou Labradors that bred their dog Molly to Ace and lost that litter.
