What's the OT's opinion on facebook messaging a girl that you're interested in?
Creepy or common practice now in 2015?

It's just sad these days

It's kind of the same as texting IMO.

It worked well in college with randoms. Older chicks (mid-late 20s) prob find it creepier imo.

She won't give you the digits? That may be a sign.

Common practice on Instagram for me, but I do entertainment work so it's pretty easy to score digits. After she follows you; drop back a couple pics, start a conversation, and let the good times roll.

Don't know if I'd message a random on Facebook though.

Yea I'm in my upper 20s and said girl in just a couple of years younger and thinking it might be a little weird.
I was in a relationship ship for about 4 years and social media has changed drastically since the last time I was in the dating scence

One time some random guy on Facebook messaged me out of the blue because we had the same name.

That was kinda neat.

Damn Facebook messaging would have been considered creepy as frick when I was in college (2010-2014).

Oh btw OP, if you're hot you can do whatever you want.

Met her through my friends sister about 6 months ago. But my friends sister was the one that had a thing for me (not hot) so I used the "not ready for anything" excuse. I think she got the point, but since then I have seen them 3-4 times and have become really interested in the friend and it seems mutual. Should I just wait until I run into them again. Definitely don't want to go through the sister
