I could definitely fap to that, or Danny Green in for Carroll. Basically I'd like two 3 and D wing players, we already have one in Pondexter.

Because they play different positions? Jrue being out has proven to everyone that tyreke needs to be a lead guard. He's not a 2 guard. Gordon is the only 2 guard on the team. Gordon will start. It may be a question of who starts at the point when jrue comes back. I say jrue. Let Reke do his thing off the bench

Pondexter can also play the 2.

Several can play it out of necessity. But that doesn't mean they are a natural 2 guard. EG is the only true 2 on the team.

Jrue can space the floor and defend the better of the two opposing guards. I don't have the numbers, but I know that BSS frequently talked about how the team's offensive numbers were insane when Jrue and Reke were on the floor together. AD and Asik's defensive numbers are likewise similar. QPon is at best an average NBA player, but he's still drastically better than what we had at the 3 the last time Jrue was playing. Those 5 together feel like a great combination of offense and defense.

On offense, that's: 1 elite (AD), 1 really good (Reke), 1 above average (Jrue), 1 meh overall but good corner 3 shooter (QPon), and one bad (Asik)
On defense: 3 great (AD/Asik/Jrue), 1 capable (QPon), 1 bad (Reke)

Just to be clear, I'm mostly talking about our finishing squad. Don't really care who starts.
