In his defense, I am sure selling meth is pretty profitable in parts of Georgia.

Thats especially risky for him. Isnt he on his 5th probation in 3 years?
Eventually he'll go to jail and he'll being looking at all the concrete he wants for a long time

Wut? I know the standard is a concrete apron, but I have seen composite wood decks around inground pools and think it looks really good if done correctly. It ends up looking like shite like most wood decks, but it looks good initially.
I've seen very nice hardwood decks around in-ground pools.

Concrete stain has improved drastically and doesn't wear as easily as it used to. It also depends on how good your prep work is. The better you clean it prior to staining, the better it will hold up.
Plus, you can also have it dyed during the pour so the color is through and through though it will still show some signs of fading over time.
Acid stains do not fade on an interior floor. You just have to keep them sealed. I've got about 900sq ft done in my house and used an epoxy seal. Came out great and was very easy to do.

Depends. Acrylic definitely is..you just roll it on as is with a paint roller.
The Poly and Epoxy stuff has to be mixed right and applied pretty quickly.
It's definitely a weekend job (I did 900sq ft in 2 days) but the prep work is an absolute bitch.
ETA: Those pictures in the OP are definitely not weekend jobs

Is that stained concrete or ceramic title?

About a year ago we put down wood grain tile in our living room, dining room and master bedroom. We've not regretted it once. Easy to keep clean and dog scratch proof, we love it. People who come to our house are amazed when we tell them it's tile, not wood. Concrete looks good but my experience with wood grain tile has me sold on tile.
