Something to help fans of LSU basketball get more familiar with a player that will without a doubt be a fan favorite.

To see an 18 year old kid do what he did in that video five days a week in the offseason is just impressive. I highly doubt there is another kid that works harder than he does like he says.

I think next year is going to be special because you have two driven kids in Blakeney and Simmons leading this charge

It might be a stretch, but when I see his work ethic, I see Kobe. Lofty expectations, I know, but there's not many people that have that drive and are that competitive

It is something to have God given talent. But this kid is taking things the the highest level. He just might be the best player to ever wear the purple and gold. He and Simmons will sell out every gymnasium that they walk into next year.

Awesome. Except the fact that Mahmood is a Chelsea fan.

LSU should hire Mahmood

in all seriousness, its great to see his dedication and commitment especially to the nutrition side of things, most kids that age could not care less about the little things.

i am pumped af to see simmons but not gonna lie, i think im just a tad more excited about AB, he's going to straight up ball.

It would be awesome if Blakeney and Hornsby's work ethic and determination rubs off on Victor, Epps, and Robinson

I think even Hornsby may be blown away by Blakeney's work ethic.

Just watching this video is making me tired. Blakeney looks extremely driven.

he looks great off the dribble. Really advanced for a HS kid.

that up-and-under move he has in his arsenal should be a nice weapon at this level, guys these days don't expect to see that shite from a guard

Didn't see much work on defense, a lot of offense. There's a ton of guys who are elite scorers, but not many elite defenders, especially at the college level. It's not sexy, but it will get you PAID in the NBA.

That being said, looking forward to him tearing it up in PG

But I agree with Lester, he looks good off the dribble. I think he needs to improve the ball handling just a tad and thats what will make him a scary pick and roll threat. He's quick and jumps high on his shot off the dribble and if you have Simmons as the screener, it could be near impossible to guard them man to man. And thats if Jones decides to run some isolation/penetration offense for them instead of swing it until the shot clock gets to 7.
