re: Workstation Advice - Pricing, etc.

For business use there is only one "name brand" manufacturer that I will purchase from : get a ThinkStation by Lenovo. Look at the D-series. Has a good amount of options to customize your station.

I started with Thinpads back when it was still IBM and they've never let me down.

My post was only meant if he is going pre-built route. Building his own would obviously be better.

My son recently had one built by a custom company called Origin. Nice set up for what he wanted.
