LSU-S beat Alcorn State 10-2 earlier

Some NAIA baseball programs are legit better than NCAA D1

A lot of NAIA programs are very legit. Loyola plays in one of the toughest conferences and are pretty good themselves.

yea Lewis and Clark State had a team a few years back that had like 9 guys drafted including a first rounder

They could have been an Omaha team if they were NCAA

NAIA may have some good teams but Loyola isn't one of them

When Maestri built UNO, LSU had only started to care about baseball and nobody else did either. Now he's fighting SLU for second and third tier prospects. He's doing a good job now if he makes them average.

When Beau Mills was there. One thing that is shitty about NAIA is that Lewis and Clark State get a automatic bid to the world series every year.

also Lee University in Tenn is always a top tier school that could compete d1 no problem.

What's Loyola's home field? They use that new Jesuit High park?

yea...which they don't even need really, but has certainly contributed to their 70 national championships

With what they get talent wise, they compete very well.

don't forget back then UNO thought they could be something... now they're always one more budget cut from being shut down...

yea LSUS used to pound them pretty regularly

Unrelated, LSUS beat Centenary 16-0 last night. Almost sad to see a once D1 program who beat a #3 ranked LSU team, fall so much
