Screw that "pay it forward" bull. The last time I got in a Starbucks line they had one of those going. I got my usual grande coffee that costs a couple bucks. The terds behind me got 4 vente mochachocalattes or some crap with extra espresso shots and junk. I'm not paying for someone else's greed. I left a $10 tip for the workers and said the pay it forward will end with me

This was thoughtful of you. I'm curious though, from a legal standpoint what would have happened if the car was stolen?

Did you lock the car after you put the keys in it or did you just leave it unlocked all night?

Gave this backpatting thread the downvote it justly earned.

unlocked. Either his keys are locked in his car or locked in the gym. There was no slot to put them in the office which doesn't open until 9 a.m.

odds are on my side he drove to work this morning and wasn't late

That's irrelevant. What if some shady character was walking through the lot at night and happened to see a BMW unlocked with the keys in the seat. If he takes off with it, would you not be to blame since you put them there?

I'm not saying you did anythign wrong, I'm strictly asking from a legal standpoint.

We have started a new month, April. Time to update. So far my best act is holding the door open for a chick at the gym. Hopefully, I can replace this at being my best act soon.

This thread is basically a bragging thread. That would completely negate doing good things because you're a good person. If you're really that good of a person, you don't need to explain to other people why

A homeless guy asked for a dollar and I said "sure, hold on". I checked my wallet and didn't have any cash. Jesus knows I intended to give him a dollar so it's all good. I think I get that point.

If I want to explain why I'm a good person I would write a 20 page essay. This thread is about posting an act of kindness you completed for someone else this month and year. That is it. This a feel good about yourself and other people thread. It is to create positive energy on a board mostly full of negativity. It is completely different from the "I want to stop watching porn" or "I just had a DUI and need lawyer advice" threads. Some people are so miserable that the thought of other people helping strangers brings them into a rage. Anyways.

What is your best selflessness act you have completed this year (2015) and month (April)?
