“Universal is going to have the biggest movie in history with this movie,” Diesel said in a lengthy interview with Variety for this week’s cover story. “It will probably win Best Picture at the Oscars, unless the Oscars don’t want to be relevant ever.”

I think he's joking, but this movie is going to kill.

I haven't seen any of the F+F movies since the first, but I've heard that some of them are legit good movies. I'm waiting for a lazy, hungover Saturday to watch all of them consecutively.

I haven't seen them all, but the ones I have seen, I haven't felt lost. Each movie stands alone just fine with a few cameos and such.

The movies aren't nearly as bad as people make them out to be

When they bailed on the street racing and went to full on heist movies, the quality went through the roof. The last two have been pretty legit. I expect this one will be the same.

I'm calling it now.

Paul Walker is alive. This was all a marketing ploy. We will all find out in the post credits that Paul lives on. Or I just refuse to accept that he's gone. From all accounts he was a really legit dude

Either way this will be an incredible movie.

I enjoyed the first 3, Fast and Furious, FF2, and Tokyo Drift to laugh at how bad they were.

The next 4 have been decent to pretty good, with each one better than the last, and i actually enjoy them and can't wait to see the new one.

I heard that they are going to "retire" Brian O'Conner(Paul Walker) from racing at the end.

Early viewings have also stated that there was not a dry eye in the house at the end of the film.

I watched the first movie and realized that since I am not Asian I probably wouldn't like the rest of them.

Good for Diesel.

The last F&F movie was really stupid and awesomely entertaining. I'm in for this one.

I think the only one I have hated was Tokyo Drift. The last few have been awesome mindless entertainment.

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of them except Tokyo drift. The first couple were not great movies, but highly entertaining. Ever since I think the fourth one, fast and furious, they have actually had pretty good storylines and still highly entertaining.

I can't wait to see the new one.

you are doing yourself a disservice then - especially the last 3 or 4 films.

I disliked Tokyo drift.

2fast 2furious was okay

I liked the first one and the last 3.

Then again Tokyo drift happened between the last one and this one so it happened out of order where as all the others followed each other.

You almost had me? You never had me - you never had your car... Granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like you should. You're lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake! You almost had me?
