Jets file tampering charges against Patriots

Rules state any public or private statement of interest is prohibited by another club's player to that player's agent or representative, or to a news member of the news media.
"[The Jets] are the team that drafted him," Kraft continued. "I think he feels a great commitment there, so we understand his going back and we're sorry he didn't stay with us.

No surprise. Everyone and their brother knows they tampered with LeGarrette Blount during the season too--Blount intentionally got cut because he already had it set up to go join the Patriots**.
They need to lower the hammer on them. Loss of an entire draft class for the next two years or something. But Goofdell won't do that because he's too corrupt to do the right thing.

From what I understand, the league is looking at docking the Jets 5th round pick next year for what he said about Revis during SB week.
As for this, yeah he said it didn't work out.
