Are you referencing in state? I could understand if so.
Also, not to shoot down anyone with high hopes, but the odds of an instate kid getting a real offer with expectations to play are slim. Until the competition in the state increases, to a competitive national level, it just won't happen that often. Pitchers are the exception, because if you throw hard, you will get looks.

Yes. Sorry if that wasn't clear. Just saying that girls that play on "local" teams that we see many times every year, for the past several years, in many cases it is hard to "hide" girls of exceptional talent. You pretty much know who know girls are. I knew of the two girls with the canes (Jordan and Shelby, although I had seen Jordan more), but didn't have any recent knowledge of another girl down in that general area who would fit the bill. Except, possibly, a girl I had seen for voodoo a few years ago as a 12 U player. Haven't seen her since.
