How screwed did Princeton's women's team get?

Finished the regular season 30-0, and ranked 12th in the RPI (13th in AP). They were rewarded with an 8 seed and had to play a second round game @ Maryland, the one seed in the region.
As ridiculous as I thought Wichita St. getting a 7 seed was in the men's bracket, this is considerably worse.

They did not play a ranked team all season. Only one other team in their conference finished above .500.

Considering they didn't pose much of a challenge, the seeding looked about right.

You know who really got screwed? Any team that got placed in UConn's bracket.

They were only down 4 at half today, even though it looks like Maryland broke away in the 2nd. I just think it's absurd considering Princeton only had two games the entire year they won by only single digits. I know the Ivy League blows, but RPI is all numerically based, and Princeton had a very solid ranking.

The refs huddled at mid-court and didn't have the balls to call a technical. It was clearly a violation.

It's a good thing I don't care about women's basketball otherwise I would be pissed.

Women's basketeball cannot be compared to mens. The parity just isn't there. Just look at the tournaments. Upsets are much more rare.

Royally.
The women's tourney still doesn't have sufficient sunshine and it remains a good ole girls club (much worse than the men).
The worst are sports like Volleyball...they basically put their buddies in.
